This old house in Marylebone was renovated by McLaren Excell architectural bureau in one of the most prestigious district of London, UK. The building of 1820 was in very poor condition and almost all of its original parts have been destroyed or replaced. The customer has purchased the Dorset Square townhouse with the purpose of transforming it into a comfortable house for a large family. There are four bedrooms with three bathrooms, the working studio, living and dining areas designed in this quite large residence. Many interior elements have been either restored or duplicated from their original forms. The architects have also added some modern details. The soft palette of different materials helped to create an elegant interior comfortable atmosphere.
