The architects of the architectural studio MKCA have learnt different aspects of an arrangement and all necessary design elements of small houses and then started the new project of the small apartment designing in New York. The results were really unexpected and incredibly interesting:
Five to One Apartment
In spite of the small seizes of the flat in New York (only 36 square meters), there is all the necessary things for comfortable living, for example, a living and dining room, a bedroom and bathroom. There is also a seating area and dressing room. The motorized sliding wall is the most interesting object in the house. It could also be moved from one part of the room to another. This element allows you to separate sleeping and living areas and opens the dressing room with built-in drawers and cupboards. There is a place for a large sofa bed when the doors are wide-opened, which is very popular in small apartments. There is a working area with a small library and additional shelves. The computer and the rest of the machinery compartment are hidden in the closet.
