The architects Michela and Paolo Baldessari have reconstructed apartments, located in the house of XVIII century with internal yard with storing well. The building is located at the historical center of the Italian city Trento.
The authors used wide-spread yet actual approach of contrast. It was implemented in a form of graphically explicit juncture between the dark floor and white ceiling, whereas black wood (namely smoked ash tree) of furniture panels stays in contrast with walls, painted in white.

The given design combines full of light and opened spaces for guests and shaded private zones, divided with partitions. The interior`s atmosphere is created mainly by the modern work of arts: the owners of the apartment have been collecting the paintings and sculptures of modern artists (such as Hsiao Chin, Ugo Nespolo, Enrico Baj, Bruno Chersicla, Giulio Turcato and Milena Milani) for a long period of time.

The hall runs into the guest zone, which consists of symmetrically located living room and dining room. Big bright living room has wide opening across the whole wall from the one side, which allows to enter the terrace of 100 sq. meters. The passage on the opposite side leads to the kitchen.

There are two bedrooms with bathrooms and a cabinet at the far side of the apartment. Antique furniture is harmonically combined with items from modern designer brands, namely with Varenna steel kitchen, Poliform chairs and Kartell tables. The apartment`s square (exclusive of the terrace) is 200 sq. meters.
