Chad Oppenheim is an architect, who worked with Michael Bay (the famous film director) and created projects for Pharrell. He has introduced this spacious residence on the Bahamas. The new house on dunes occupies an area of 3000 sq. ft. (278 sq meters) and has become an objectification of minimalistic architecture, made of ecologically-green materials and modern technologies. The central part of the house is as opened as possible. There is a living and dining rooms at this part of the building. They have entrances to spacious terraces with sheds protecting against the sun. A kitchen and four bedrooms are concentrated around this central area. Construction materials used are concrete blocks and cedarwood. Sliding doors are made of impact-resistant glass. The roof is made of cedarwood and follows traditional architectural elements of many houses on the island. The residence reflects the signature style of Chad Oppenheim, who creates social- and environmental friendly buildings.
