What are the features of a beautiful house, located in the woods? Architects from Ward-Young Architecture studio have done a lot of work and demonstrated them. They created a comfortable and modern dwelling, having implemented both traditional architectural approach and modern ideas.

A lot of mould-breaking decisions as well as classic forms were used in decoration of this cottage. It has a plenty of space and is full of light and forest inside. This was achieved by replacing traditional walls with glass panels, which unite interior premises and the nature.

However, modern cottage is not just a beautiful house in the woods. A part of pine stock became the core element of living room`s decor, as the trees are as if “ingrowing” the house. The absence of visible walls is dissolving the house in the wildwood. Both areas – interior and outer space – are harmonically combined, and this is highlighted with thorough selection of furniture and decor elements.

The most appropriate style for the country house`s interior is eclectic, as it is emphasizing its naturality and pureness. Beautiful forest-located house should contain moderate and austere colours, with the following tinctures prevailing: creamy, orange, yellow, grey and brown. Elements in yellow may help to add brightness and uniqueness to such house.

 In general, this interior looks rather balanced and natural, though it contains some “rough” materials, namely stone and wood.
