CHI-TORCH Interior Design architect studio has implemented a successful modernization of 40-year apartment in Taipei City (Taiwan) and filled the interior with home coziness and bright style. Industrial and minimalistic motives have seamlessly entwined between each other on the square of 181 sq. meters. Spacious social zone unites living room, dining room and kitchen.
The living room is divided from the cabinet by a glass partition. There are 3 bedrooms, several balconies and a terrace at the apartment. Opened brickwork and secondary wood used in finishing not only emphasize the age of the house, yet fill it with deep romanticism. Opened communication lines, harsh unpolished surfaces and carefully selected accessories create quite unusual atmosphere and unique image of modern apartment.
Antique furniture stays in perfect contrast with wooden panels and metal doors. Industrial design of metal lamps, delicate floor-to-ceiling gardens and eccentric décor items perfectly supplement this unique designer`s ensemble.
