The Skupaj Arhitekti project bureau has created the private house on the shore of Bohinj lake in the Stara Fužina village (Slovenia). The house is constructed on the protected area of the Triglav national park on the place of former auto repair shop. It has 100 sq. meters, is built on the hill and its owners enjoy panoramic views on the mountain glen.
The residence looks like the traditional constructions, yet has the modern image. The local larchwood was used for finishing of façade, interior and furniture. The first floor is basically a small yet well-organized space. The living room is located at the south-east part of the house and is connected with bedrooms of the second floor via the staircase and the wardrobe room. There are separate apartments, intended for a rent, at the western part of the construction. They may be further transformed into the additional bedroom.
