The designer Laura Kirar has spent last six years renovating the XVI-century residence and sisal factory in Mexico. This residence in Yucatan was only a short stay in Laura`s globe trotting. Her passion to travelling and collecting things was strongly reflected in her works, especially in the last furniture collection, designed for Baker brand.
In order to create this bright and eclectic collection the author used various sources of inspiration, namely vivid geometrical patterns from South America, Moorish archs from North Africa and even narwhal`s tusk from Arctic region.
Each of items as if tells its own story, which begins in the most exotic places and ends in skillful hands of Baker`s craftsmen. They pay a great attention to details, make each item of expensive and qualitative materials and in a manual way.
“I believe that we are approaching the time, when people will truly value unique, highly artistic and qualitative projects”, — says the designer.
