The project La Boyita Residence in one of the most attractive resorts of Uruguay on the ocean shore was represented by Martin Gomez Arquitectos studio from Punta del Este. The main task for the architects was a creation of a cozy beach house, where the owners could relax after working days.
This one-story house is situated on a fantastically beautiful and unique plot of the coastline. The residence occupies 600 square meters and consists of five blocks. In the main one there are dining and living rooms with an access to the terrace under the broad canopy, and to the elegant swimming pool with lighting and built-in Jacuzzi – this is where owners can enjoy the best view of the ocean.

The terrace is also equipped with two stone fireplaces, dining and sitting areas with sofas and beds. Use of fireplaces allows owners to have parties all night long despite the cool sea breeze. Just a few steps from the terrace there is a beautiful sandy beach leading to the ocean.
In other units there are cozy bedrooms, guest rooms, bathrooms and stuff rooms. One of the most important conditions was to create independent zones and individual rooms so that guests do not feel that they somehow embarrass the hosts.
The interior design is luxury. Here the simplicity combined with the elegance. There is snow-white upholstered furniture with lots of pillows in the living room, a comfortable ottoman, gorgeous fireplace that separates the living area from the dining room, glass walls which provide an access to the sun and beautiful views. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and is thought over to trifles. Using environmentally friendly materials makes this interior more attractive. Designers have used such types of finishing materials: glass, concrete, steel, stone and plenty of wood that creates a sense of warmth and coziness.
