Designers of i29 Architects studio have created the interior for the ‘Room on their Roof’ at famous Amsterdam`s De Bijenkorf tower.
This project was created in terms of joint work with the National Museum. The tower is located at the historical center of Amsterdam and has been turned into the cultural center during recent years. The apartment for artists became one of the program`s components. Premises, square in plan, are located at the very top and are approximately two stores high. The main idea of the project is dividing the room in two parts, the white room with a window and a telescope and wooden box at full room`s height, holding a kitchen, working zone and a bedroom.
