A modern apartment called Travel House was recently introduced by Brain Factory studio in Rome (Italy). During the interior creation in apartment of 75 sq. meters designers were motivated by the owner`s wish to reflect their passion to travelling, search for new places and their desire to explore the world. The travelling idea becomes apparent at the very entrance to the apartment, as there is a green bamboo from Malaysia stretched in the wall`s height, which perfectly corresponds with grey colour of the wall. It seems that bamboo grows directly from the niche in the wooden floor, covered with stones.
Moreover, due to the optical effect in the mirror opposite the bamboo wall it even seems that this corridor is a true bamboo thickets at some exotic country. At the same time the main element, which demonstrates passion to travelling, is located at the living room on the wall. It is a map of the world, where the names of the countries are printed in different languages. Apart from travelling idea the owners wanted to create simple and minimalistic interior design, as well as light and natural tinctures and materials. The apartment spaces are performed in white, grey, ochreous and golden tinctures. In order to make the décor brighter the designers added some bright items like colourful chairs at the kitchen. Inbuilt furniture and plain doors, which nearly run into one with the walls, helped to supplement this apartment with features of minimalism style as well.
