Anglepoise company has recently introduced a rather unusual floor lamp called Giant1227. Its design was drawn from a small desk lamp, projected by the automobile engineer George Carwardine as far back as 1934. The giant lighting unit oversizes the original lamp thrice and is available in four colour combinations.
