The private residence called Casa Bramasole is overlooking picturesque hills in Umbria region (Italy). It was quite a challenge to turn stone ruins of a medieval building into the modern villa. The architects have recreated wooden ceiling beams, floor tiles, small windows and interior arcs, having supplemented authentic décor elements with modern appliances and solutions. Thus, Casa Bramasole now has a solar heating system, floor heating, external lighting, a swimming pool as well as furniture and carpets performed by Scandinavian and Italian designers. The combination of luxurious atmosphere and originality together with breathtaking panoramic view is truly second to none.
