The architect Thomas Sandell has presented the project of the Vallmo villa in Skaraborg, Sweden. Traditional Swedish architecture has always been one of the main source of inspiration for him. The author admired the winter landscape and red cottages, which creates the contrast with the white snow, while coming back from his journey to Sweden. The residents perceive the red color as usual but the architect sees them unique. Vallmo is inspired by traditional Swedish architecture and a rich heritage. Aesthetic and practical solution makes the connection of the interior and exterior convenient and harmonious. The architect has used the natural materials of the region.
