We would like to present you the project of the neat and little country house located close to the Canadian city of Montreal – the second largest city in Canada. In fact, the house is just a renovation and redesign of the older buildings of the sixties. The father of current owners of the house has bought it in 1960, and then his children completely renovated the building, so now it looks fashionable and stylish. Talking about the exterior of the house, we would like to mention that it was faced with the updated brickwork, black siding and the newest roofing materials. The Canadian architectural studio «NatureHumaine», which specializes mainly in the creation of country houses, was entrusted with redesign works of this project.
If we are talking about the inner space of the house, it is important to notice that the interior was also completely updated. The main feature of the cottage interior is stylish and modern design that combines the latest architectural fashion trends. All walls and ceiling of the house are white, but architects decided to make the contrast on the color and material of floor coverings. The staircase is situated in the center of a huge living room and leads to the attic floor. The staircase has the metal frame that is covered with light wood panels, which also gives the contrast to the interior and makes it more comfortable and light. In general, the interior is not overloaded with details, thus it is very minimalistic.
