RM House project is implemented by the architectural firm Fernando Coelho in Felgueiras, Portugal. The old stone building was in such a poor condition that it didn’t seem appropriate to be recovered. But designers wanted to save the heritage. For this purpose, the architects built within original walls a new house. And the result – a residence area of 540 square meters – is unusual and really interesting. It matches perfectly the interior and consists of two levels. On the ground floor there is a garage, laundry and utility room. Upstairs there is a kitchen, pantry, dining room and living room, and in the other part – a master bedroom, two guest rooms, bathrooms and a home office.
