Australian «Corben Architects» studio converted a huge warehouse into the dwelling

We present you a very interesting project of a country house in which the Australian architectural studio «Corben Architects» has converted a huge empty warehouse into the fashionable living space for a family with three children. During the designing process, studio designers faced a number of problems that they have successfully solved using their creative imagination and “out-of-the-box” thinking. For example, the size of the empty warehouse did not allow providing it with enough daylight because of the too large distance between the center of the structure and its exterior walls. But the architects found a way out of this situation and created a small courtyard which provided the sunlight penetration into the building.

Interior decoration and design of the rooms were very stylish and quite extraordinary. For example, designers situated a red sports car in the large living room as the main accessory and compositional center. The lighting system with several stylish light fixtures which successfully fit into the house design was installed above a large and massive table. The kitchen area was separated from another space by the massive concrete countertop in the form of a rising from the floor wave.
