Itzimna House has 500 square meters and is located at the historical center of Merida city (Mexico). Architects from Reyes Rios + Larrain Arquitectos Studio longed to create energy-saving yet opened house. To achieve this goal they used prefabricated structures, which allowed to simplify the project and made it cheaper. Mature trees and vivid garden around the residence became its integral part. The house consists of three bedrooms with individual baths, a kitchen, dining room, living room, cabinet, swimming pool and service block with laundry, storeroom and additional bedroom with separate bathroom. There is also a guest building of 48 square meters constructed close to the main part of the house. It contains a terrace, dining room, bathroom and bedroom.
