Wonderful house called “Cave in Pilares” is located on the territory of the Pilares ecological reserve at northern part of Coahuila state, Mexico. It was built in 2015 upon the project of Greenfield architectural studio. The main project`s concept was to create the oasis at the national park. The construction is built solely of local natural materials, which helped to organically insert the house into the surrounding landscape. Due to rich assortment of local natural materials, used at construction, the house imitates multicolour scenery of the surrounding desert.
External terraces of the building are located at northern part, providing fabulous view on the peaks of Sierra Madre. The authors managed to create wonderful interior on the area of 260 sq. meters, which is filled with the history of the past, modernity and original atmosphere.
