Gisele Taranto Arquitetura studio has presented a project of Tempo house, located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Designers carried out total reconstruction of the old house in colonial style and managed to create a modern residence in one of the most charming city districts. The residence has 1500 square meters and is divided on two blocks, both surrounded by tropical trees and exotic plants. The bigger block contains the main living zone, whereas the smaller one locates rooms for the operating personnel, laundry, garage, home cinema and Spa-center, which is directly connected with the open relax zone near the swimming pool.
Hall in the lobby of the main residence`s block is conjoined with the gallery, exhibiting an impressive owner`s collection of art objects. Bedrooms have found their place on the first floor and are connected by a spacious living room. The cabinet overlooking the mountains and beautiful surrounding nature is located upstairs. There is also a garden on the house`s roof. The residence`s interior contains natural materials, whereas the furniture and decor items were provided by the best Italian and Brazilian brands.
