The Atelier Marko Brajovic architect bureau has created a rather unusual county house called ARCA in Paraty (Brazil). The residence of 130 sq. meters is constructed in the tropical forest and is characterized by the minimal influence on the surrounding nature. The unusual construction without additional footing creates two side walls and the roof, which are made of mix of carbon steel, aluminum and zinc. Two other walls are of glass and the interior finishing is of wood.
This modular house was recomposed on this very place within a week only; however it may be easily disassembled and transported upon the owner`s wish. The house`s premises are as follows: the fully functional kitchen, living room, bathroom and creative work-room. The open-up sofas substitute beds and save place. Two couples with children, who would like to be inspired by the nature, as well as to dip into the creative work and spend time with each other, may be comfortably accommodated inside this house.
