Cozy Family House “Casa en Lago Villarrica” From Planmaestro Studio On The Lake Shore In Chile

This cozy family house “Casa en Lago Villarrica” is located on the shore of Villarrica lake, at the north-west flank of Villarrica volcano, Araucanía (Chile), and was completed upon the Planmaestro project. A beautiful house was created on the parcel of forested land of 8,000 sq. meters. This house has a decline on the lake`s side and perfectly fits into the surrounding landscape.

This X-shape building has 4 wing-blocks, which may be used as independent living premises. They are conjoined with wooden passing modulations and have several inner yards with different landscape. The residence is surrounded by the trees, which are décor elements and create the atmosphere of relaxation and unification with nature.

Each block performs its own function. Thus, one contains a social zone, the other is developed for the owner`s private zone, whereas the third accommodates guest rooms and the forth is intended for personnel residential premises. The total square of the house is 387 sq. meters, it has 9 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a luxurious living room, home cinema, spacious dining room, a perfectly equipped kitchen and a laundry room.

Family rooms have an entrance to terrace between the house and the beach, guest bedrooms overlook the forest part of the manor with a mountain view, whereas the living room has an open terrace from the lake`s side. There is a beautiful patio between two wings of the living premises. The house`s and premise`s façade contains expensive qualitative wooden materials. Facades are finished with dark wood, whereas the internal wall coverings contain lighter tinctures. Large panoramic windows provide a perfect view on the outstanding nature.
