The Fallsview Residence is built on the territory of the UNESCO biosphere reserve, the southern province Ontario, Canada, in 2015. The author of the project is Setless Architecture studio.
This two-story modern house is constructed on the picturesque timberland, on top of the hill. It has been built on the place of the old adandoned construction, which had to be completely demolished. All trees surrounding the residence were saved during the building activity. Panoramic windows made the surrounding landscape a natural part of the interior. The general area of this residence is 129 sq. meters.
Its center is a luxurious living room with a fireplace, finished with the black stone. This zone is entirely glassed across the perimeter. There is an opened patio with barbeque equipment on one side of the living room, whereas the other its side is represented by the upscale loggia, covered with dark wooden panels. The kitchen is decorated in the minimalism style.
The functional wooden furniture with plenty of closets is easy-to-use and looks stylish. There are 4 bedrooms with bathrooms in the house, a home office, a rest room and a garage for 2 cars.
The interior is decorated with pieces of art from the owners` collection; these are pieces of modern Canadian art and artefacts collected during journeys in Zagros Mountains, in India and Myanmar. These unique objects of art create a feast atmosphere and make the house bright and distinct.
