Gallery House is a project of the architect Domenic Alvaro’s on Northern Beach in Sydney, Australia. The mention is made of concrete and glass. What is interesting, the rooms in the house are intersecting with the art gallery of an owner’s big collection. Moreover, the architecture and art are parts of a single concept. And near the house there is the small picturesque park, harbor and garden on a hillside.
The mansion consists of several interconnected units combined by the courtyard with the swimming pool. The white walls and dark basalt floors look perfectly as a background for the colorful paintings adorning the room. Carefully thought-out details, such as the doors made of natural wood oak, built-in wardrobes, large panoramic windows and the wooden banister with graceful lighting, add to the project some solidity.
