Architects of Yasunari Tsukada Design have introduced a private house at Takamatsu city, Kagawa Prefecture (Japan). The initial plan was to build up a new house, however, it was soon decided to partially renovate the three-level residence and use it as a living place for a family of two generations. It was important for the client to create calm and relaxing atmosphere at private rooms, as well as sense of involvement and unification at communal area. It is possible to view the premises one from another, yet they remain separated at the time.
