The Rabanua House, projected by DX Arquitectos studio, is located at a small village in Canela, a province of Chile. This is a summer residence of 280 sq. meters, which belongs to the family of three generations. It is constructed on the ocean`s shore and provides outstanding panoramic view on the beautiful surroundings in the absence of constructions nearby.
The residence consists of two concrete blocks, conjoined via the open gallery. One part accommodates premises of the daily zone on the first floor and main bedroom on the second, whereas the opposite part of the house contains four additional bedrooms. Use of natural materials and neutral tincture creates the balance between the building and nature. Moreover, the building`s façade is coloured with tinctures of local cliffs.
