Antiguo Reino House project is an apartment of modern style in Valencia (Spain), which was created in 2015 by Fran Silvestre Arquitectos bureau. The apartment has found its place inside the old building of XIX century with typically narrow and extended rooms. The authors carried out complete reconfiguration of this dwelling and performed its decoration in minimalism style.
The walls, dividing the living zone into small dark premises, were removed. Big sliding doors created the integrity of space. At the same time the premises became light and spacious due to open planning and prevailing of light colour palette. Snow-white walls and ceiling managed to visually broaden the space and filled it with freshness and pureness. Yet the real warmth and coziness was created by wooden floors. Moreover, the interior is enlivened by modern functional furniture.
The interior contains also the features of elegancy and nobleness. Apart from that the variety of shelves and wardrobes provide ideal conditions for domestic appliances storage. The lighting system is thought out to the last detail and premises look light and opened. There is an elegant living room at the apartment, which passes into a cozy dining room and then into kitchen. The latter impresses with comfort and usability. The windows of social zone overlook the main façade, whereas the bedroom ones provide view on the calm courtyard. Yet the most pleasant feature of this luxurious apartment is the atmosphere, which fills with peace and stability.
