The architect Marcio Kogan together with Studio mk27 has decorated a wonderful penthouse in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The project is called SP_Penthouse and demonstrates the minimal division for rooms and spatial continuance. The residence is located at the upper levels of one of the new residential complexes. It has three stories. The first of it allocates bedrooms; the second contains a cabinet, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room. The third story is designed for a library, a swimming pool, a winter garden and a fitness hall. The main design`s concept is the continuous circulation. Large corridors divide the living and private zones and serve as a gallery for displaying the pieces of art from the owner`s private collection.
The furniture for the penthouse was created upon the sketches of architects. Together with other décor elements and finishing of natural materials it creates cozy atmosphere. Along with the unique objects, there are timeless classic elements from world-famous designers. The walls of the residence are covered with wooden planks; therefore, they may be considered as a part of the décor as well. The daily zone contains the floor of travertine, whereas bedrooms have the wooden one. This amazing penthouse is also famous for its outstanding panoramic city view.
