This private residence, located on the Sky island in Great Britain, was projected by Dualchas Architects studio. The building belongs to the family of five and is located on the shore of the creek. The main desire of customers was to have a living zone of open type, which is conjoined with the dining room and kitchen. At the same time the owners wanted from the cabinet, playing room and four bedrooms to be isolated. They also wished to have separate premises for firewood and heat pump storage, and a shed. The surrounding landscape corresponds with the residence`s design, which contains nothing in excess. All residence`s parts are located in a special manner and create the inner yard, which is well protected against winds. Good thermal insulation makes the house comfortable for constant living at low finance expenditures. Geothermal heating provides all rooms with the necessary warmth, and there is a fireplace, which is perfect for extremely cold days.
