The architect and landscape designer Peter Bahouth made a project of the unique house-hotel on the tree in Buckhead, a few minutes from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The author tried to create a house for recreation, but not to harm the surrounding nature, especially during construction works of buildings.
Location of the Treehouse is fascinating – a stunning forest with century-old trees, and the age of one of the pine trees, on which the house is built, is 150 years old. Building of this house-hotel took about 7 months. All the constructions are made of natural materials, like wood and rope. Each of the treehouses is a single room (containing the living room and two bedrooms), and the entire series forms a house connected with wooden catwalks.

The houses are located directly on the trees with their trunks inside the rooms becoming a part of the interior. Each house has not only its own name (“Mind”, “Body” and “Soul”), but also purpose. The hotel provides its residents with all the amenities including even the library. Furthermore, different interior items were bought at a flea market and many of them are antiques.

There are numerous interior items that make the interior comfortable and cozy, like old tables and armchairs, bird cages, the chandelier with 12 candles, carpet-kilims, and candles in old candlesticks. The bed is placed on a movable platform that can be extended outward giving owners an opportunity to relax in the open air. In addition to this, the area of the hotel looks like a magical fairy tale because of garlands, decorating the houses, and catwalks.
