There is a villa with unusual name “Criss-Cross Envelope” at the center of Ljubljana (Slovenia), constructed upon the project of OFIS arhitekti. Three-story house is performed of monolithic concrete. Moreover, the building seems to be wrapped in metallic covering of perforated panels, providing the residence with privacy.
Apart from that open-worked metallic façade perfectly filters bright sun light. Concrete panels are supported by X-form reinforcement girders, which gave the name to this house. The villa of 340 sq. meters is intended for comfortable living of 5 people. Functional zones are divided floor-by-floor: the first floor contains social zone, the second one allocates three children`s rooms and covered Jacuzzi, whereas the third one has bedrooms for parents with entrance to the terrace.

Opened textured surfaces and wood finishing were widely used in the interior. Moreover, there is plenty of perforated material in the premises decoration. The building contains neither storing nor basement premises, therefore all systems of items storage are inbuilt in the walls. Many furniture items are inbuilt as well.
