Euronews Headquarters in Lion, France, is a wonderful architectural composition, developed by Jakob + MacFarlane Architects. The building is performed in a form of rectangle block with two tapered sockets, which create atriums and allow natural light and air to easily enter the premises. Their form is rather symbolic and reminds eyes, which look at the surrounding world. This is not usual boring office building, but an experimental form of architectural art, where architects strived to balance innovation approaches and sustainable development.
The headquarters` façade is colourful and airy. It is performed mainly of glass with addition of thin green aluminum plates. The company`s employees may enjoy the river view and the surroundings. The building consists of two blocks: the office part, which is filled by cabinets, a press-center, a dispatching, audio-recording studio and other departments; and public area, which includes spacious hall and restaurant.
