Architects from Raanan Stern Studio have introduced the project of apartments, located at the building in Tel Aviv, Israel, constructed in 1930. The premise has 807 square foot (75 sq. meters) and its interior is worked out according to the owner`s preferences, who runs a business and travels a lot.
The brick wall, decorated with beautiful painting of local artists, divides the flat into two open premises, filled with plenty of light. It is painted in white with little amount of gloss, which helps to visually enlarge the premises. The other wall is painted in dark blue colour, which on the one hand is aligned with the color of kitchen`s furniture and on the other is a bright emphasis in the space opposite the living room. In order to make the premises light and filled with the sunlight the architects used metal profiles and reticulated glass in the bathroom. Some interior elements are a mix of modern and old items. For example, design of the dining room is amplified with two lighting fixtures, which were demounted from the plant in the Czech Republic. The designers have also gathered things and items of various materials here, such as straw, velvet, wood and metal. They were collected especially for this project to enrich the atmosphere of the apartment.
