The Tighthouse is the first certified passive house in New York, designed by the architectural firm Fabrica718. This eco-house is the exponent of a new generation of the living space, which consumes 75% less energy than a standard house.
The architects restored the old building, but added a third floor with a terrace on the roof, and there is also two-level art studio on the lowest floor. The new residence of 297 square meters is equipped with the most modern technologies which greatly simplifies the life of the owners and causes no damage to the environment.
