Assaf Israel, the industrial designer, created the Tipi modular shelf especially for Joynout Studio. He was inspired by lightness and freedom he felt at travelling and constant relocations from one place to another. This feeling was the basis for the project`s creation. The shelf could be easily recomposed and is multifunctional. It could be used for clothes and small things storage or as a working place. It would perfectly suit both the interior of some private residence and the interior of any public place. The shelf`s construction is conic and guarantees easy installation of additional shelves without any fixation. This feature is rather important if a person don`t want to study complicated schemes for furniture assembling.
Tipi modular shelf is made of a solid wood combined with plywood of a birch tree. Decorative baskets have been imported from Africa and are entwined manually of Napier grass. They may be performed in natural color or in black.
