Architects of Wespi de Meuron studio have introduced a private house, located on the border of Switzerland and Italy. The house is situated on the hillside, overlooks the Lago Maggiore lake and belongs to the married couple, who doesn`t have children. The residence has 148 m2, is performed of concrete and is notable for big number of windows of different size. They add some dissymmetry into the perfectly flat shape of the concrete cube, as if embedded into the mountain slope. There is a natural wood in the internal finishing of the house, which makes it closer to the surrounding nature. The decor elements and furniture are of minimalism style, whereas the main focus is concentrated on the spaciousness and beautiful panoramic view.
