This London residence declares aloud about its inhering to English aristocracy. Classical style with nothing in excess and nothing garish is a main feature of the interior, which could not surprise those familiar with English manners. However, the designers haven’t turned this residence into meager and boring dwelling. They have found the compromise and used lovely highlights prettifying the solemn atmosphere.
No wonder that sober grey color was taken as a basis for this dwelling. Its tinctures are at the peak of popularity nowadays. Light spots of any type, starting from black and white to wine-colored and orange, look marvelous amid grey color. It is possible to combine grey with natural wood, gold plating, silver, chrome-plated elements, stone and glass. This color is also appropriate at all designer styles and is in perfect harmony with modern electronics.
The living room is located at the first floor, integrated with the kitchen and dining room. Classical style is decorated with white sofa and bright pillows. The dining table is situated at the other part of spacious room; it is made in a form of coarse cottage-styled item. Aged brick lining walls supplement the decor.
The stairs leading to the second floor are designed not only with functional purpose, but for decoration as well. They create unusual geometric composition and demonstrate the spirit the ХХIst century.
The room for recreation is situated on the second floor and is integrated with the library. Printed books collection highlights the owners` adherence to traditions in spite of living at digital technologies era.
There are two commodious sofas near the fireplace whereas it is possible to cose during the refreshing evening and communicate with friends and family.
Bedrooms are located at the third floor. Two children’s rooms are decorated in a simple way, there is nothing to gather dust here and the finish contains only user-friendly, organic materials.
The owners` bedroom is performed in beige and light-blue tones. Fretwork, created around the perimeter, decorate the snow-white ceiling together with peculiar chandelier. The floor is made of dark parquet planks.
There is a small bathroom adjoining the bedroom. An oval white bath is the center of the room. There is also a wash-basin for two unusual-shaped sinks, a shower and a wall hung toilet here. Old castle illusion is created due to dark tones, unique walls and floor finish. Nevertheless, the windows neutralize the sense of pressure and darkness here.
